Okay, so I've been toying with the idea of starting a blog for some time now. I don't know how I will find the time for it when I can barely get in a shower and 3 regular meals on most days, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway.
I have been following the blogs of some incredible women for a couple of years now and I think what I like most about the idea of blogging, is the way it takes the simplest of moments and encapsulates the very things one might want to remember down the road when brown hair ripples to gray and memory begins to fade. I would like a place to jot down a quick thought or two without having to worry about it being covered with remnants of peanut butter or drops of apple juice. Preservation of all the little sayings and doings of my fast growing little ones might also be nice and perhaps the occasional adult sentiment or two. Who knows, maybe I will rediscover the passion I once held for writing, before life was seemingly consumed with the many details of diapering, and laundry, and other various housekeeping activities.
So here it is, my first blog post. I sit here feeling strangely accomplished and yet slightly unnerved at the prospect of what pressing "publish post" might entail. Oh well, I might as well jump, who can tell what new and exciting adventures lie in store!
